It was an honor to be a judge for the International Design Awards 2022. As a professional in the design industry, I have always been passionate about recognizing and celebrating excellence in design, and the opportunity to be a part of the awards process was truly a privilege. One of the most rewarding aspects of being a judge was the opportunity to see the outstanding work completed by students. The level of creativity and innovation displayed by these young designers was truly impressive, and it gave me hope for a bright future in the field of design.
As I reviewed the entries, I was struck by the diversity of perspectives and approaches that were represented. From architecture to graphic design, industrial design to interior design, the entries reflected the range of design disciplines and the many ways that design can be used to make a positive impact on the world. I was particularly impressed by the ways in which many of the entries addressed important social and environmental issues, such as sustainability and accessibility. These designs were not only beautiful and functional, but they also demonstrated a deep understanding of the role of design in shaping the world around us.
The top prize in design went to Total Design in Amsterdam for their work on Limburgs Museum in The Netherlands. The entire campaign is wonderful example of every element of branding perfectly designed and executed.
Overall, my experience as a judge for the International Design Awards was an incredibly rewarding one. It was an honor to be a part of the process and to have the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the best in contemporary design.
